Tabriz University of Medical Sciences publishes two online open-access journals in the field of dental sciences by the Faculty of Dentistry.

Journal of Dental Research, Dental Clinics, Dental Prospects (JODDD) publishes original articles and case reports from all fields of dentistry. The journal is published online. Iranian dental schools (the Faculties of Dentistry) as well as Iranian associations of general and specialist dentists receive print versions of the issues.

Journal of Advanced Periodontology & Implant Dentistry (JAPID) is the official publication of the Iranian Association of Periodontology, published by Tabriz University of Medical Sciences. This journal is dedicated to the subjects relevant to the discipline of periodontics as well as dental implants. The journal is published online. For archival purposes, articles of each volume are printed and the print version is sent to libraries of Iranian dental schools.
