Tabriz Faculty of Dentistry began to offer postgraduate courses in September 2000 in the fields of oral and maxillofacial surgery, endodontics and periodontics. Other postgraduate courses, including orthodontics and operative dentistry, were inaugurated in 2002, followed by oral medicine, prosthodontics, oral and maxillofacial pathology, pedodontics and oral and maxillofacial radiology in 2007.

At present Dr. Parnian Alizadeh Oskoee is the director of postgraduate courses.
